I was very dissappointed in the communication. I did the application over the phone because the website was not displaying the rate I was told on a previous call to the loan dept. DUring the application process, I left 3 different messages for different questions, each time I left my cell phone number as the way to contact me. All 3 times, they either returned my call to my home or work number. After the application and all paperwork was submitted, I called for a status and was told they had been waiting about a week for my employer to verify my employment. They should have initiated a call to let me know they were waiting for this after no more than 3 days. Lack of communication and attention to detail are my main complaints. Also, after I applied for the loan, I found out that you offer an interest only home equity loan, this was never offered or explained to me on the phone.

My whole experience was great! The people that I dealt with were extreemly helpful and friendly. I was very pleased when your loan officer suggested an approach that I was unaware of which saved me a significant amount of money. I have been a member of Space Coast since 2001, and every time that I have spoken or dealt with your employees, they have exceeded my expectations. Your people have gone above and beyond in every case to make my customer experience satisfactory. This is especially true in the Deltona branch where I conduct my business.

I think the process of making a payment for my mortgage is a little complicated but the tellers are so wonderful I never had a problem, but personally I still have not figured out how it is done.

From the time I applied online until the time we closed on the loan was an even shorter process then we had expected. In today's market and the crunch that has been put on everyone's wallet, time is so important and just a matter of hours could mean all the difference in the world. I could not see my account in the online banking for 4 months...very inconvenient! I was told that the suffix created for my new HE loan had "glitches" and several other customers had the same issues. It appeared to be the first few customers that took advantage of the HE lowered rate. I think 4 months was way to long 15 phone calls to try to resolve. Way too much stress and time wasted on my part. SCCU should have made sure this new suffix 22 was ready to go online with your consumers.
