*OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES AND DETAILS:
1 General Information and Eligibility: Contest is open to all registered runners in the Melbourne Music Marathon who are aged 18 or older, are spotted in the designated contest area, and display the provided Watchdog sticker on their person. No purchase necessary. Employees of SCCU and members of their immediate family, including household members, agents of the credit union, associated marketing firms, and affiliated entities are not eligible to participate in this contest. This contest expires following the completion of the Melbourne Music marathon. SCCU reserves the right to change the terms of this contest or withdraw the contest at any time with no notice or notification and for any reason. Void where prohibited. SCCU reserves the right disqualify any individual that tampers with the entry process or the operation of this promotion, violates the Official Rules, or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Persons suspected of tampering with this promotion or entering this promotion via an ineligible method will be disqualified. Failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. Awards are non-transferable and award type may not be substituted. SCCU is not responsible for: (1) incorrect, inaccurate, late, lost, stolen, illegible, incomplete, or misdirected Watchdog stickers, or any eligible Watchdog sticker received through impermissible or illegitimate channels, all of which will be disqualified; (2) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to, the malfunctioning of any telephone, computer, network, hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or this promotion; (4) electronic or human error (including any SCCU telephone operator error) which may occur in the administration of this promotion or the processing of entries; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property, which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant's participation in this contest or from visiting or downloading any material from SCCU's website, regardless of whether the material was prepared by SCCU or a third party, and regardless of whether the material is connected to SCCU's website by a hypertext link.
Selection Process: SCCU will randomly select five (5) bib numbers displaying an eligible Watchdog sticker as described above to be eligible to win. The winning bib numbers will be displayed starting February 4 at SCCU.com/musicmarathon, at which time potential winners must check the site to determine if they have won. Winning bib numbers will be displayed for four (4) weeks before being removed and the winner being deemed ineligible. Odds of winning are based on the number of eligible runners who wear the sticker. In the event that a winner does not claim a prize in the allotted time or does not qualify to receive the award, SCCU reserves the right to either choose a new winner at that current time, a later date, or not at all.
Prize: The five (5) winners will each receive a $100 gift card. SCCU reserves the right to change the amount of the cash award without notice. Cash award will be presented to the winning member in the form of a VisaŽ gift card in the winning amount. Winners must visit a branch located in Brevard County listed at SCCU.com/locations by 4pm on March 4, 2013 to claim their award. Claimant must present bib with legible winning number. If a claimant cannot come to any of the listed branches to claim the award, the winner must contact SCCU at 800-447-7228 ext. 6338 to make arrangements before the expiration date takes effect. SCCU reserves the right to verify any documentation provided by the claimant and withhold the cash award until appropriate documentation has been verified. Winners can visit any of the Brevard branches listed on SCCU.com/locations to claim their prizes.
Winners: Winners must be registered runners in the Melbourne Music Marathon festivities, are spotted in the designated contest area, and display the provided Watchdog sticker on their person. Winners will be required to sign a prize acceptance form and other documents to confirm eligibility and allow SCCU to utilize the winning members' names for publicity purposes. Winners are responsible for any and all taxes associated with their award.
