Member Rewards
What is Member Rewards?
Member Rewards is an exclusive Space Coast Credit Union program that provides benefits based on your level of participation in the credit union.
Your level is based on your total average daily deposit balance in accounts other than CD accounts, OR on your total loan balance as of the end of the month, whichever is greater. All of the accounts in your household are considered when calculating your level. For example, your children’s deposit accounts count towards your household’s deposit total. All members of your household will receive the benefits for that level.
Details, Details:
- Your level is calculated each month based on your deposit and loan totals on the last day of the month, and is reflected on your account statement. You receive the benefits for your level during the following month (for example, if you see “Platinum” on your statement for May, you receive the benefits for that level during June).
- Deposits held in CDs are not included when calculating your Member Rewards level.
- Mortgage processing fee discounts are granted based on your level when at the time of your loan application.
- All members with an Investment Services account are placed at the Platinum level.

- Refinancing your car or truck
- Refinancing your mortgage
- Transferring a credit card balance to one of our low rate cards
- Moving your checking or savings accounts
- Choosing SCCU for a low interest home-equity loan
- Applying for a car, boat, or RV loan
- Starting an investment account

Space Coast Credit Union reserves the right to alter or terminate any aspect of the Member Rewards Program without advance notice, except as required by law. Members who maintained an Odyssey Checking Account prior to July 31, 1997, will retain all benefits including no minimum balance, no monthly fees and will earn interest on the balance monthly. As of June 1, 2009, balances held in Certificates of Deposit (CDs) will no longer be included when calculating your household's Member Rewards level.
