the Port St John office was not helpful, so I went to Titusville where everyone was friendly and very helpful both times i was there; opening the accounts and transferring funds into those accounts

The Staff was exceedinly helpful, they assisted in setting up accounts for my two teens, and my wife and I. They were fast and efficient, and a refreshing change from the Chase pressure tacticts and misleading offers.

We did not have a good experience with 1 of your staff members at the Patrick AFB (however we do not know her name but I am sure you have access to look it up). When we opened up this account she made me go to the car for my Spousal Military ID card then after I returned with it, she told me she did not need mine only my husbands (who was also there). She was very discourteous and clearly had an attitude. We just thought maybe she was having a bad day? However, My husband has visited this PAFB office on numerous occasions and both times received the same discourteous treatment. He brought 4 checks to her window and he was told to go to the counter and write out a deposit ticket which he did then she was very upset and told him that in the future he was to add up the deposits before bringing them to her window (and she was not nice about it). Then on another occasion he brought a check to her window to cash and she told him that he will need to put his account# on the back of his check. My husband called me on both occasions and let me know that he refused to ever go into that bank again. I can tell you that both myself and my husband have never, at any banking establishment been told to add up our checks on a deposit ticket or to put our account# on the back of the check to cash it. This teller needs to appreciate her job (since so many are losing them these days) and not hassle the people who give her a paycheck. I would suggest you sit this girl down and have a heart to heart with her because apparently she needs to learn what excellent customer service is and clearly needs some people skills. We closed our account with Space Coast today !!!

Setting up the account took over an hour and a half in the branch and that was much longer than I had the patience for. Opening an account should be the easiest part of the process and the staff should realize that "hey, these people are bringing us their business, lets be efficient"

Setting up accounts was simply. trying to get a loan was horrendous despite my 800 odd credit score. Express lending said they would call, didn't, even after a week. setting up automatic payment for loan went wrong. Automatic payroll went into one account, deductions for car payment i was told automatically set up and it wasn't so i had to go into bank to may first car payment, because i had received no statement or coupon to pay and nothing had been set up. very inefficient.

Your associates are very knowledgeable, they are efficient but do NOT rush their customers. I like that. They strive to answer your questions in a calm and effective way. Even if the customer is "excited" the associate was very professional and we all know that working with the public, especially in this, is tough!!!!

you need to promise and deliver what you advertise and dont get peoples hopes up and mess with their childrens savings account and break their little hearts. i was suppose to get 25.00 for opening 2 accounts and i didnt..and it was almost a month before i got my debit card..they said i was approved for platinum credit card and then when i called to see where it was..they said opps..you were denied and we sent you the wrong debit card...we sent you a savings account card and then they said i had to use the account 4 times before i would get promotional 25.00 and so i did and then they said it had to be from checking and i said it was from checking and then they said no it was savings and i ajusted account and then they pulled it out from checking anyways...they kept saying im sorry ..im sorry ...but they still didnt fix account. and i didnt get 25.00 yet...and i didnt get my checks and then they said i had to pay 30 bucks for them and i said nevermind i order them through someone else..its been a real mess.

Could have advised that "free checking" came with a fee for the checks...very disappointed in that.Having a high credit rating I was very disappointed that I was refused a credit card...being thoroughly disgusted with Chase Advantage and their unfair treatment of not only to me personally but other friends...my main reason for opening an account with SCCU was to be able to transfer my Chase credit card over to SCCU...would certainly rather pay interest to local bank than to people like Chase.

Thumbs down on carelessness. I have 2 checking accounts. I got both debit cards at the same time. I called to find out which card went with which account. The girl told me the wrong card with the wrong account. This caused over drafts on one account.

I have been an employee for 2 years and like most members I did not transfer my checking account because of the hassle to transfer bills, direct deposits, etc. I really should have done this a long time ago. I took me 5 minutes to open the account, and less then 30 to transfer my bill payor information. In about 3 days I already had my debit card and checks. WOW!!!!!

So far, so good! After banking with Barnett Bank which was taken over by Nations Bank which was taken over by Bank of America, I've been totally satisfied by SCCU after being totally dissatisfied by Bank of America's willingness to help me out in my credit/loan needs in a time when I could've used some help. The "small potatoes" customer means nothing to Bank of America. While always treated great by the local branch employees, Bank of America's policies drove me away. I've re-invested my former 401k money through SCCU and Fidelity Investments after needing some of the 401k monies to fill some gaps after being laid off. My little IRA, hopefully, will grow and at least give me some security towards the future.

I know it costs money, but I wish that your online banking supported downloading account information through the latest version of Quicken software. You only support a much older version, and this creates a good deal of more work at the customer end of things.

The port saint john branch is very convenient; also the merit island branch has helped me out a lot. The bankers are helpful and very considerate. I have never had a bank account before anywhere else, because I was told SCCU was the best. I am only 18 but this whole experience has proved to me one thing, SCCU is the best choice for banking around. I have never been so satisfied with a buisness, SCCU is fast and the quality of work put out is at the highest standard. I really appreciate the hard work and I look forward to being a loyal customer for years to come.

bank tellers here are not friendly , they are cold and short to cutomer . I never see any of them smile with customer even the greeter !!!!Make you feel unwellcome here. I have almost cash right now in saving account with another bank out of town and want to transfer to Daytona but i am sorry i do not want to put in your bank . You need to have more than one customer service rep. to help wth open new account during lunch hour when we , working people can go to the bank. I waited about one hour just to open a new checking acct. because there is only one person can do this but she already got some body before me . I was late comming back to work , it make me want to go to different bank !!!

having to talk to someone on the phone while at a branch office to get an acct seemed ridiculous. also, i needed to print something off of a flash drive and the person we were dealing with said the computer she had couldn't print off of it. come on now!!! if its a security thing, just say so....dont make up lies to deny a request.

The employee who helpped me open the account went to fast when explaining how to access the account, do on line banking, etc. I asked her to slow down but she continued to go too fast so I probably will be very slow to use some of your services because I'm not sure how to do them.

I was sent away from the Rockledge South Branch twice with no service being offered. When I did find another branch that allowed me to sign my new account ppwk and deposit funds - ordering checks or a debit card was not mentioned. Therefore, I never received checks or debit for my new account. After a month, I called the service center to find out why I hadn't received checks or debit card - that's when they told me that I needed to make a special request for those 'extra' conveniences. ...A checking account where checks and a debit card require a 'Special Request' on the part of the account holder seems very strange to me. Not to mention the fact that your associates never mentioned to me that I may want to request them. Hopefully when your merger goes through, the company that your incorporating to your system has some experience dealing with customers in a retail/banking environment.

When I use the drive thru, I specify which account I want money moved from to purchase money orders. I always want to use my savings to purchase them. Everytime!!!!! the money is taken from my checking and I have to go home and transfer funds from the savings to the checking account. I also wanted an account that has bill pay. I was using a bill pay via BOA before this account so that is all I can compare it to. There is too many start up flaws in bill pay or lack of good information. I had no idea that checks would be mailed as opposed to EFT for at least the first check. Once again this was information I received after the fact. I'm still waiting for a bill pay to Brighthouse to show as paid (9 days). I had a few late fees to pay even though I had provided 5 days lead time. Once again I had no idea a check was being sent. Had I know that during enrollement I would not be making these comments.

Part of the reason I joined SCCU was because it had online banking. I have used online banking at my previous bank and it was very easy and convenient to use there. When I signed up for the online banking at SCCU I expected the same ease. I did not find that however. After setting up all my accounts and paying my bills by the due date on the bill I thought I was set and everything would be fine. I thought that, like my previous bank, the date I put down for the transaction to happen would be the date it was taken out of my account and payed to the appropriate company since I had entered all my billing information for all my bills weeks in advance that it would go through on time. So far I have made one round of payments on all my monthly bills have come back with late fees on them. I did not expect, nor did I read anywhere that the date I had put down for bill to be paid was actually the date that SCCU mailed off a payment. I consulted with one of the tellers at SCCU and she informed me that the first round of payments were mailed out to ensure proper accounts and that the following months would then transfer funds normally as I had expected. This was a huge monetary and timely inconvenience for me. If I had known it would take so long for the first electronic transfer to take place I would have moved up the date of the payment. I think SCCU needs to be clear to it's new online banking customers of the time it takes for the first payments to go through so that bills are not late. Online banking is very important to me and if the next month does not go smoothly I will probably be looking for another bank that has a better online banking program.

UP TO THIS POINT I HAVE BEEN VERY HAPPY AND REFERRED MANY PEOPLE. YOU HAVE MY WIFE'S, SON'S AND DAUGHTER'S ACCOUNTS AS WELL. HOWEVER I AM INCENSED BY YOUR POLICY NOT TO ACCEPT MY HRBLOCK VISA CAR LOADED WITH MY TAX RETURN DOLLARS TO MAKE A DEPOSIT INTO MY ACCOUNT SIMPLY BECAUSE THE CARD LACKED MY NAME AND READ HR BLOCK CLIENT INSTEAD. AFTER ALL YOU ARE MY CREDIT UNION AND I EXPECTED TO BE ABLE TO HANDLE ALL OF MY BANKING BUSINESS WITH SCCU EXCLUSIVELY, BUT I PRESUME PERHAPS THAT MAYBE MY EXPECTATIONS WERE TOO HIGH. I FEEL SOMEWHAT BETRAYED BY ALL THIS. I WENT TO BANK OF AMERICA AND THEY HAD NO TROUBLE TAKING CARE OF MY NEEDS. IN FACT THEY WERE VERY ACCOMODATING AND EVEN OPENED A NEW CHECKING ACCOUNT FOR ME SO THAT I MIGHT BE ABLE TO USE THOSE FUNDS TO PAY MY BILLS, WHICH I DID. I HAVE TO TELL YOU THAT IF IT WEREN'T FOR THE CREDIT CARD I OWE SCCU FOR I PROBABLY WOULD HAVE CLOSED MY ACCOUNT THAT DAY. WHAT A LOUSY POLICY SCCU HAS WITH THAT HRBLOCK THING. ISN'T IT FUNNY HOW ONE LITTLE SEEMINGLY ITTY BITTY THING CAN SET PEOPLE OFF AND UNDO ALOT OF GOOD EMPLOYEES GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE WORK. JUST THOUGHT YOU SHOULD KNOW I'M SEEING OTHER BANKS NOW, NO MORE GOIN STEADY.

My main problem is being locked out of my account online when I get the password wrong 3 or so times. I don't log into the website often, so I can't always remember my password. If someone was trying to brute-force access to my account (which is why I assume there's the 3-time limit until you have to call,) it would take literally 144555105949057024 tries (unless my math is wrong.) A 3-time limit won't protect me against this--if someone is going to gain unauthorized access to my account, it probably will be via a keylogger.

The branch staff were most helpful. I have been a member of Space Coast Credit Union since I was sixteen over thirty years. I joined when the office was a trailer out at Patrick AFB. Recently, we were visiting family in the area and my wife couldn't get to the office to sign as joint owner. The staff allowed her to come in on Saturday to sign. This was definitely above and beyond my expectations. I don't know what you all are doing (maybe that great Southern Hospitality) but keep up the great work.

Initially, 2 yrs ago I did not open an account due to the charge of depositing coin. At the Benefits Fair, I was told you don't charge anymore so I switched from Wachovia to you. You have a very close branch to me and the $100 gift was definitely a deal closer. It would be helpful if my USAA debit card worked in your ATMs.

I originally ordered my checks on 11/13/08 and asked that they be held at the brach until I come and pick them up. On 12/3/08 I stopped in at the branch office to pick up my checks and was told by one of the customer service representative that my checks had not been ordered because she was not sure which address to have put on the checks. I was also told it would take approximately 5 days for the checks to come into the branch. When I stopped in at the branch again yesterday (12/16/08) my checks were still not there. I was told that they had never been ordered but would be ordered, express delivery would be requested and I would receive a phone call when the checks came into the branch.

Come to find out after I could not get money from the bank, that all checks for 30 days had a hold on them for 10 days. But I was never told this so that took another trip to get correct and the embarrassment of transactions being declined when I had money in the bank. It happened on a weekend so it was Monday before I could get it corrected. The Branch was very helpful in getting it corrected so it was no longer an issue. They did a great job.

I experienced an episode of identity theft recently with my checking account and was helped by Jeff @ Suntree branch. He was extremely helpful and made a very disturbing experience much better. I was very impressed with him and he is a great ambassador for the Credit union. I would highly recommend him and this branch to anyone. I live beachside and will do all my banking at the Suntree branch now.

Do not open accounts on a saturday!!!! I waited 30 past my appointment time and did not recieve half of the information I was suppose to. Ordered my debit card that day and they forgot to order it. I went to another location to find out that that had never been done. Not satified at all with the customer support when starting a new account.
