With next year’s newest models already beginning to hit the street, car manufacturers are encouraging dealerships to make enough space to keep up with demand. As a result, car manufacturers and dealerships are both far more likely to offer larger rebates, lower sales tags, and other incentives to get older (but still brand new) models off the lot.

Working for a credit union my entire adult life has inevitably led to many conversations with friends and family about finance. Through those conversations I am often shocked to find the number of money savings tips I have come to know through my line of work that others were not aware of. Of the most common; refinancing your vehicle (cars, boats, motorcycles, and RVs) for a lower rate and payment seems to be the biggest hit. I have personally witnessed friends and family save thousands of dollars doing so.
