Member Rewards is an exclusive Space Coast Credit Union program that provides benefits such as free or discounted services based on your level of participation in the credit union. Member Rewards is designed to provide the greatest value to those who make the greatest investment in the cooperative by using SCCU's products and services.
Using products such as checking accounts, debit cards, credit cards, vehicle and mortgage loans, and retirement accounts contribute income and strength to the cooperative. When you use these products to run your household, you are investing in the credit union, which allows us to provide you more benefits.
Member Rewards levels are calculated and assigned annually at the beginning of the calendar year. Rewards levels are assigned using a combination of average daily deposit balances in accounts other than CD accounts, total monthly average loan balances, and qualifying purchase or payment transaction activity.1
Member Rewards is about relationships, and levels are based on the combined participation of members in your household.2 Each member of the household enjoys the same reward level and associated benefits. We evaluate household participation monthly, and adjust levels up but never down. So, even if you pay a loan off mid-year, you will continue to enjoy the benefits for the entire year.
