SCCU is committed to making a difference in the lives of our members and neighbors. Through community involvement and responsible corporate citizenship, we help improve the communities where we live, work, and play.
Partners in Purpose is SCCU’s formalized Corporate Social Opportunity (CSO) program designed to guide the Credit Union’s community impact for years to come.
The program reflects SCCU’s enduring commitment to service, stewardship, and strengthening the communities we proudly serve.
It aligns volunteerism, corporate giving, and nonprofit partnerships under a unified framework anchored by three pillars: PROSPER, PROTECT, and PRESERVE, supported by partnerships with eight key nonprofit organizations.
Our Three Pillars
Education & Financial Wellness
Supporting youth education, financial literacy, and workforce readiness. This includes expanded partnerships with four Junior Achievement chapters throughout Florida and SCCU’s footprint, as well as initiatives that uplift educators and classrooms.

Military & Emergency Response
Honoring SCCU’s deep military roots by supporting service members, veterans, and disaster response efforts. This includes ongoing collaboration with the American Red Cross of Central and South Florida.
Coastline & Habitat Stewardship
Protecting the state’s natural environment through partnerships with the East Coast Zoological Foundation and Adopt a Dune to focus on coastal restoration, wildlife protection, and habitat conservation.
75 Acts of Purpose
Celebrating 75 Years of Service
To commemorate the 75th anniversary in 2026, SCCU recently launched 75 Acts of Purpose, a year-long campaign aimed at delivering 75 meaningful acts of service and support to local communities.
The campaign celebrates SCCU’s milestone anniversary while amplifying the broader mission of Partners in Purpose.
While Partners in Purpose will help drive many of these acts, the anniversary campaign represents just one chapter in SCCU’s ongoing commitment to community impact.
