Step 1: List All Automatic Payments

List all automatic payments that you'll need to re-route to your new SCCU account. Stop writing checks from your old account.

Step 2: Ensure Checks Have Cleared 

 Our reconciliation worksheet can help you balance your checkbook and verify there are no outstanding checks left to clear.

Step 3: Set Up Direct Deposit

Next, you'll need to transfer all direct deposits to your SCCU account—either by phone, online, or with the direct deposit form.

Step 4: Change Automatic Payments

After updating your automatic payment checklist, fill out and submit the automatic payment change form for each payee.

Step 5: Close Your Old Account

Use the closure request form to close your old account and have all outstanding funds sent to you.
